Hello travelers!! My name is Rodrigo Horn and I am returning from one of the most surprising and learning trips I have ever made!!

I did the Jewels of Türkiye tour from September 8 to 18 and this (I will try to be brief) is a review of what I experienced.

Discovering the Jewels of Türkiye

Part 1

This is how this adventure began, discovering the jewels of Turkey in Istanbul, my flight arrived from Madrid directly to the IST airport, I had no idea how big of an airport it was… the flight arrived at 12 am.

As we passed through the filter for passports, suitcases, etc. at 2 am, a representative was already waiting to take us to the hotel.

We arrived at the hotel around 3 am and at 7 am we got up to meet the guide Uğur.

Also to make the extra jewels of Constantinpla that already includes tickets to the mosques and the topkapi palace, a meal at a local restaurant and they take you to the grand bazaar,

It ends up being a very tiring day with a lot of walking but it is well worth doing the extra guided tour. Around 7 pm you return to the hotel to rest.

The next day, after packing and having breakfast, you are taken to Taksim Square, one of the most iconic places in Istanbul.

Then a boat ride through the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn, which is fantastic for the panoramic views you have of all of Istanbul.

And before heading to Ankara they take you to eat at a local restaurant

After 6 or 7 hours of walking we arrived in Ankara where we stayed in one of my favorite hotels on the tour.

The ramada blu which has an incredible panoramic view of the capital of Türkiye.

The next day After breakfast, they take you to see the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

A striking place dedicated to the greatest hero that Turkey has ever had, a place with a very interesting history. I would have liked more time to get to know Ankara.

From there we went to Lake Tuz, a huge salt desert where they sell beauty products and crafts created with salt.

Mounds and volcanic erosion begin to form in the landscape. We enter Nevsehir, where the Cappadocia area is located. They take you to an underground city.

At sunset you arrive at the hotel in Cappadocia which had an incredible view of the Uchisar Castle. That night walking through Uchisar was magical.

Discovering the Jewels of Türkiye

The next day (as a bonus) early in the morning begins one of the most impressive adventures I have ever experienced…

The wonderful, mythical, iconic and SPECTACULAR balloon flight over the Göreme Valley.

At midday they take you to a visit to an open-air museum in the Göreme Valley where you can see some ancient frescoes and where the apostle Peter passed through to preach to the Jews.

In general everything was very good, the hotels as usual with LocalAdventures It has excellent service, something I really liked is that most of the food is included (drinks are not included).

The guide was super well-informed, multilingual, and with a VERY good level of Spanish, from the first moment he was willing to help us and make sure everything went excellent!!

Discovering the Jewels of Türkiye

I still have to tell you about part 2, discovering the Jewels of Türkiye, which is incredible.

Where we visited Pamukkale, and some wonders of its surroundings, Ephesus, Izmir, a Greek Island and Bursa. In the following days I will share my review and photos of the rest, leave your questions here!! We will gladly answer them.
